Default HELP - Cpu gets to hot!?

Ok, i have a old emachine 1.8 celeron pc that has one broke heatsink latch? im not sure what its called but its 1 of the 4 plastic things the heat sink clips on to. When i put it on it snapped. but when i turned it on, and ran Everest it says its idle around 38-45, and when i do a disk clean up it hits 91!!!, but the heatsink is well tight on the CPU, it don't wiggle or move at all. I'm not sure if its the heatsink or maybe did i put my thermal compound on wrong?

Or does this CPU just run hot?

When playing games like " World of warcraft " about 5 mins into it, if i check the temp its up in the 75's.

any advice?

if it hit 90C then your PC would shutoff to protect itself. Is it really hot to the point that it burns you?
