I have a Matrox Wave Device onboard my 6-year old MSI motherboard and whilst my mono headset speaker is working fine, the microphone playback is both low and very scratchy.
I've recently purchased a new replacement headset and that is no better.
I'm pretty sure everything is set up OK in audio devices and I've checked the jack plugs.
It could be a driver issue and I would like to contact Matrox on the subject. I believe C-Media may also be something to do with Matrox and therefore do not know who to contact.
Can anyone help with the problem or provide contact details? Thanks
