Headset Microphone Problem

I just recieved a new headset.
Sennheiser PC 150

The sound is awsome, however everybody says my microphone is breaking up very badly, to the point they can't even hear me hardly.

I have tried the front panel mic and the back of pc mic.....still the same.

Am I missing something on my end?
Or do I just have a bad microphone? Here is a link to my headset.

What ever voice client your using could have a bad codec. I know that ventrilo will let you change it in a menu.
