I just hooked up a Toshiba HDTV 42HP66 to my friends computer through the VGA port on both ends. Well everything is working fine, but it shows artifacts and the pixels jumping around when playing games or going into ATI CCC. I'v tried increasing and decreasing both Hertz and resolutions but no help. When i go to display properties the video card is showned but it telling me its running on (Default Monitor) , i looked for drivers but there are none.

plz help

o ya one more thing , the computer is running a ATI Sapphire 9550 AGP 256mb

had a similar problem with my current build this was my solution:

1. un-install all drivers and videocard software

2. Install ultra-mon

3. install drivers and software

4. system recognised the extra display as a singular display and with ultra-mon which I am use to using on my laptop I could easily configure everything

I would try that I found hardly any resources explaining how to fix this I just tried it and it worked for me
