HeyI´ve never heard of a monitor crashing but Im having that problem now. I´ve got a laptop and when I plug in my HDTV thru VGA it runs for a few seconds then it goes black, the strange thing is after that none of the buttons on the monitor respond (IE I cant change it to another input etc.) and I have to unplug n replug the HDTV for it to respond again. It´s probably something to do with the crappy onboard graphics card the laptop has, but im no expert. Is there any thing I cant try differently=?
(I was running it at 1920x1080 then I tried changing it to 800x600 and other resolutions but still the same crash.)
tried updating the graphics drivers
restarted
last ditch effort I tried another VGA cable but no luck
Im really not sure what else to do!?
Any help would be appreciated
