Okay I have a 720p hdtv hooked up to pc through hdmi. The thing is well, picture quality is fine, but the text is bad. I've tried tweaking the settings a bit, text looks a bit smoother but not as great as it should still a little sktechy. The video card running, I'm not too familar with ati's but I think it's a 4200 HD.

It's set to 60 hz 32 bit it's running a 1360 x 768 resolution

What's wrong? Any ideas

Check you ClearType settings. For XP you will have to download the ClearType powertoy. For Vista/Win7 go into the Control Panel and use the search feature and type in ClearType. It will bring up the wizard to adjust the settings accordingly.

Which OS are you running? Have you tried setting it to 59Hz?

I haven't tried changing the Hz yet I'll try it today, and I'm running XP which i don't think is the problem

Make sure your resolution is set at the TV's native resolution. If it's not you will get fuzzy text no matter what you do.
