HDMI to DVI problem

Ehh Idk if I'd wanna cut off the plastic because if it doesnt end up working out in the end im just gunna return the cable. thanks alot for your help but i think im just gunna go back to tiger direct tomorrow and see if theres something else i need to buy.

Ok so to solve my problem i went to tiger direct and bought Logitech S-150 Digital USB speakers because the guy there said they would probably work on my 360. of course i get home and i cant get it to work. is there any way to get these USB speakers to work on my xbox?
