Okay, my wife said she was sick of it so I hooked up her old Gateway and it was running fine. However I loaded up Microsoft Visual Basic on it and now it takes anywhere from 4 to 8 hours to just boot into windows. Could VB be causing all this? I don't even want to shut it down because of my homework that I have to get done. Thanks in advance for any help.
