Default HDD failing?

Every 5 mins or so, my computer freezes up when i give it a task, then one of the hdd's clicks once and the job goes thru. It really becomes a burden, especially when typing or opening a program. I haven't run any diagnostics yet. Btw i have two barracudas and one wd external mybook. Ideas? The last time i can remember without this problem is before i installed ms office 07.

If you're hearing clicks, it's best and safe, to backup all your important data.

Then why don't you do so? There is not difference where you put it. The big posters will look at all the sections.

I'll assume you have RAID. Check the disk for problems.
