I have a HWC54D Hawking Hi-Gain Wireless-G Laptop Card, and I'm trying to connect it to a WAP54G access point. It will connect using the Hawking Utility or Windows Utility. But it won't receive data.
The funny thing is I was able to connect it to another WAP54G in our building without any hassles. I matched the settings in the config pages. I also made sure they had different SSID's.
What is weird is I can connect it to the access point with a Linksys Wireless Card. But it would drop connection every couple of days. I changed the access point from DHCP to static ip like the working access point. Hope it helps. Any ideas anyone? I'm stumped.
