Hi everyone!
I have a problem thats pinging the **** out of me:
i am building a backup system so if this one crashes i can use it, but, it seems the biggest harddrive spare i have is an old "fujitsu MPE304AE 8.45GB" that doesnt seem to want to boot.
Every time i have it in a system (ive tried 3) it does the BIOS tests, then when it should go onto listing hardware IRQs the system freezes dead.
Thus it means i cant boot a CD or anything.
Any clue on what it could be, please post your ideas/suggestions here.

Thanks, func_337.

Have you been able to go into bios? If so does it show your hard drive. Are your jumpers in the right place Slave/Master?
Is the drive making alot of noise? Is the drive formated?
Have you tried to put it on its own cable if you have a spare IDE slot? Thats all I can think of at the moment.

Well im sure the cables are all connected fine and the jumper is connected as master, shows in BIOS & is formatted 2x vfat partitions & is on when its in the case, but it just wont boot.
Ill have another fiddle and then if it doesnt work ill just buy a new one, but thanks anyway.

Cheers, Func_337 :)
