Harddrive noise..

A western digital less than a year old which is dieing?? I've had my 160GB caviars for two years now, still going strong.

sometimes you just get bad hard drives mate....does not matter who makes em, there will still be the odd faulty one.

As others have noted back the drive up, you can check on the western digital site to see if the drive is still under warrenty, if so you can RMA for a new one.
