Default Hard Drive Temperature Monitoring reccomendation

I have been troubleshooting some hard drive noises and am concerned with the temperatures of my hard drive.

Speed Fan has the internal temp at 54C and Western Digital says the normal operating temps are 5-55C BUT this is external temp.

So I am looking to monitor the external temp of my hard drive and have no googling luck or Newegg luck in finding an external monitor.

Any suggestions are welcome.

Thanks

Default HDD temp Sensors

Static_11,

Thanks for reply,

What are some others?, Everest has been discontinued.

Again, I am looking for a physical sensor which can be placed on my hard drive.

Thanks

You think something you will download will come with a physical temp sensor you can place on your hdd?!?!?!? That would be sweet but no...

It displays your temps on the program via the motherboard sensors yes the motherboard has sensors

no some people are just ignorant...

but yes.. this FREE program that you DOWNLOAD comes with physical temp sensors, they pop right out of your speakers... [/sarcasm]

why do you need an external so bad? just use the internal.. not that big of a difference...
