Hard drive and partitioning

Yeah that will be fine I actually have a 40gb hdd in my laptop and dual boot windows xp and ubuntu on it. Need any help with gparted I think its fairly straightforward but there could still be some niggles for someone who isn't familiar with linux......

i found it alot easier to just reformat again, since i had no important info it didnt rly matter, ive fixed it now, thanks again for the help.
