Hard Drive Failure

I'm hoping someone can help me out....Recently my 80GB HD has failed. I'm not sure what's wrong with it...Is there a way to fix it? I know I don't have much information included but I don't know what to look for. Any help appreciated.

IF it's completely failed, such as reader arm no longer moves, or it won't spin, or such like that, no, you won't be able to fix it short of sending it to a company like drive savers, which will run you typically in the thousands of dollars.
