Default Hard drive error.

What is the command I can use to check my hard drive for errors. I have 570GB hd's, roughly how long will it take to run it

It depends on how filled they are. Go to Computer, choose your drive, right click, properties, Tools tab.

Error is still coming up even after doing dskchk /r What else can I try plz?

It says replace or repair hard disk on st3500410 sata. I used seagates seatools. Under smart check, short drive check and long drive test for my sata HD all failed. My 70 GB passed. I am assuming I can RMA it because it is only around 1.5 years old. Can I?

You should be able to RMA it as most, but not all, hard drives have a 3 year warranty.

ps.. Guys, I still have the email sent by newegg. I typed in the item number and this is came up.
