Default Graphics messed!

Got a really big problem with my computer.
Turned it on today and was met with everything having pink/green lines through it.
My first thought was that it was my grpahics overheating - however having switched off the ocmputer and leaving it for 20 minutes or so it was still messed.
Ive tried putting some fans pointed at it to blow air onto it but with no avail.
The graphics card is a Xfx7600GS Fan-less.
Here is a picture of the screen im getting:

Thanks for any help.

Your video card might have crapped out on you. Maybe try another card you're not using or on-board graphics.

Random movie quote to make you seem hip and "with it":
"Please take the chairs away. I don't like them. The big one is staring at me and that short one is being very droll."

screen shot looks normal, If you just did a "print scr", it wont show. Try a diff monitor, and a diff video card. My friend had this issue with his new video card - GTX280, see this post...

Display problems with GTX280 cant get more than 4bit picture (pics included)

Had to take the picture with an actual camera.

End problem was Bad video card, RMA'ed it back with newegg, got a new one in no time
