Graphics card problems on a new build

Hey everyone so recently last week I finished building my new computer and everything went well. But I noticed when I was watching a YouTube video that it would stop or mess up a little bit. But what really caught my attention was when I was playing napolean total war it would lag or no flow right and a day ago when I was loading a battle my comp made a loud dun sound and froze. I checked the latest drivers for the card And downloaded them it hasn't crashed since then but still lags when it shouldn't since a brand new card and system. Any suggestion on what I should do?

Amd anthalon2 x3 2.7ghz
HIS 5770 1g
MSI g45 770 mobo
4gbs of ddr3 ocz low volt

could be bad ram. Try running memtest.

Try running Prime95 or Orthos, and see if it's stable for more than an hour.

If I had to take a wild guess I would say it's a memory issue, but run some tests to be sure.

Have you used Ccleaner and Malwarebytes lately?

Edit: Yes, memtest as well
