Hi all I just installed a zotac geforce 8500gt pci-e 512mb gc and when i go into device manager the nvidia geforce 7050 pv / nvidia nforce 630a is no longer there. when I go to personalization, clk on display it still says pnp monitor on nvidia geforce 7050 pv / nvidia nforce 630a. I clk on advanced settings and says adapter type nvidia geforce 7050 etc. In props. it says 8500gt. is this normal? I also disabled the onboard graphics card and uninstalled old drivers b4 I installed new card into pci-e slot and updated drivers.
1 more question what is a wddm driver and how do i know if my computer is compatible? I wanted to use areo but in personaliz. win. color and appearance theres no buttons for transparency or windows aero.
