GPU under load while not playing games

Hello guys....

I have ati radeon hd 5770 1gb gfx card with all the drivers updated.
From few days my gpu is under load while not playing games and gpu is comes under load as soon as i start my pc.
As soon as i start my pc it starts it starts with getting under load with 7 % and get to 98-100% in few min.

Looks like GPU memory (RAM) slot failure.
1) Go some GPU test softwares. Hiren's boot CD -> Video Memory Stress Test. You will see GPU memory faults. One thing is good about bootable CD is that you 99% sure there is no virus which can change test results.
2) Try to plug-in another GPU.
Well look to the bright side, maybe it is good time to upgrade your GPU.
