Recently I purchased a Zelman VF700 fan for my radeon 9800 pro 128mb gpu. When I was installing it i got a bit over zeolus removing the old heat sink and damaged 3 of the copper trails that lead to one of the memory chips. I finished the installation and tested the card and its running but now when i start up games I have set squares missing in the screen. Can anyone give me a suggestion on how to reconnect the three copper wires? I thought soldering would be a lil invasive.

I thought maybe about soldering actual wires to the proper connections on the embedded trails but I don't know. If there was a way to disable the chip and have games run right with less memory that would work to.

Any advise would be greatly appreciated

Thanks,

lol i did the same thing to my P3 motherboard but with a screwdriver,(But i fixed it by soldering) anyway:
u need to scratch the 3 strips on both sides so u can see the metal in the open, next
u need to dab some soldering paste so it gets good contact with the both sides, and then solder;)
