Gigabyte GA-K8NF-9

My onboard for this motherboard wont work, all drivers installed speakers work...but I dont hear any sound, anyone know why? or have any suggestions...can supply more info if needed

Check your volume levels. If that doesn't work, go into your BIOS and make sure that onboard audio is enabled. If it is and it still doesn't work, disable it and go to Wal Mart and buy a Sound Blaster Live! 24-bit. Once you put that in, than your sound will work.

Is the sound card is listed in the Device Manager? If it is there does it have question mark by it?
If it isn't there, check the BIOS if the onboard audio is enabled.

when you say drivers installed do you mean the disk that came with the motherboard or downloaded from the website?
