Gigabyte BIOS Flashing Problem

First off, thanks for taking the time to listen to my problem

Now, I have a GIGABYTE GA-8I865GME-775-RH REV 1.1 motherboard.

I have been having issues and a local techie told me to flash my BIOS. I downloaded the required ZIP file and extracted the following files:

autoexec (MS-DOS Batch File)
FLASH895
gme775rh.f3

The batch file had a command prompt open with the following command:

"flash895 gme775rh.f3" (aka C:\Documents and Settings\<Username> flash895 gme775rh.f3)

The command completes successfully and closes.

Then I get a .err file appear (a error log file) with the following information:

What is the problem and why won't my BIOS flash, I know it didn't because when I boot up it tells me it's got flash type "F1" and the flash type I downloaded was "F3".

Hello. What problems are you experiencing?

some times there is a bios protect or jumper that you need to enable to flash the BIOS. Check your Manual.

Are you flashing your bios while in windows? If so, try flashing your bios through the Gigabyte's flash utility. If I remember right, I believe its the F5 key. Restart your computer, hit F5 before getting to windows. Put your flash drive or floppy in with the bios file, then select the correct path. It should be fairly easy to do it this way.
