Question GFX Cards - Size

Hi, sorry if this is in the wrong place :P

I'm about to buy the BFG NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GT OC 512MB card.
Only problem is, I know this card is very big but I can't find the exact measurements anywhere. So I was just wondering if anyone has one or knows somewhere to find this out?

I've heard it's approx. 9in x 5in but this just seems insanely big to me :S

That sounds about right; modern cards are very big, especially ones in the higher end (at least for their time).

That is relitively small for a card. I bealive me Gpu is about 12in. (now im gonna measure it when i get home lol) It has about half a cm clearance from the hdd rack in my case...very tight fit.

Beat me to it. Basically any of the high end cards that have come out in the last 3 years are 10.5" long and 2 slots thick.

Thanks for the replies.

After measuring the case properly I think it -may- fit, but only just.
It seems too close to the motherboard but that wouldn't be so bad right?
