this file does not have program associate to it for performing this action.please install a program or, if one is already installed, create an association in the default program control panel. :silent: ...
so guys plz help me to sort out this problem..
thnxxxxx in advance..............

Try resetting default file associations through Control Panel.

You could also try opening command prompt as admin, and running the following:
sfc /scannow

The downloads folder should just be a standard link with an extension .LNK
Do you encounter any issues with standard links on your desktop/start menu, or any of the other links within the favourites section

If you right click on the downloads folder within the favourites section are you able to view the properties and make sure it links to the correct section.

If you delete the shortcut from the favourites folder, and then add it again does it fix the issue ?
