hmm, while in safe mode, does the card act as if is fine, just not running the drivers?

I widsh someone with more onboard experience would chime in..

I was told that the nForce stuff is bad if im trying to install a geforce card D:

What mobo? The nforce is for the chipsets. So if you have a board with a 610, or 630 etc board you use theses to run the ethernet stuff etc.

I thiknk maybe you have a weird drivers.

NVIDIA DRIVERS 190.62 WHQL is the newest drivers.. Are theses the ones you tried?

Yea, tried those, the ones from xfx, the ones from omegadrivers.net, and others.
I just dropped my computer at a local computer store. They should find out whats wrong by sunday

They found out the problem, and its fixed.
They said that the graphics card was overheating, so i got a new one

MSI GeForce 8400GS
with a build in fan! and it works like a dream
