Default GeForce FX 5500 Driver problems

Hello

I'm having a problem with my NVIDIA GeForce FX 5500 256MB AGP i used to be able to install video drivers after i had formated but now i cant anymore when i try to install them they seem correct correct but when the finish screen is suppose to be there the screen comes black then the monitor turns off then the computer restarts, it tries to enter windows then when the welcome screen is suppose to appear it stays black then i have to switch off the computer then try again if it does go into windows the drivers seem correct but the cursor has a HUGE lag i cant even control the cursor then i go into safe mode and uninstall the drivers and its correct but i cant play any games...

Thank You

I thought that it was correct but it did it again , it was alright for 30-40 minutes but then it started to have huge lags again then restarted and i had to uninstall the drivers again
