An odd thing happened to my computer. For some reason or another, after several months of nonuse, my NVIDIA GeForce 6200 video card seems to have uninstalled itself. We are unpacking from a move, so I haven't turned up the original CD that came with the video card as yet. So I attempted to download the driver online and got, "No drivers found compatable with your current hardware, installer is exiting ." (or something like that.)
At this point, I'm not 100% that I've got a 6200, but that is what Windows keeps telling me, "New hardware found, NVIDIA GeForce 6200 ... bla, bla, bla."
Am I completely doomed without my install disk (which HOPEFULLY isn't lost or destroyed in the move)? Am I just missing something obvious? Any help would be appreciated.
