Game controller is not staying active ?

Hey. I am having a strange and odd problem with my game controller.
This PC controller is a Tesun 703 USB game controller made in japan I got last year because my satiek game controller fell apart within 3 months.
The problem with this controller is when I start playing a game <Snipped> it will play fine for about 10 minutes after that my controller stops responding and it will automatically shut off even windows xp does not detect the controller shut off without signaling the USB unplug sound.
When I plug it back in it works for less than about 5-10 minutes.

Is there something wrong with my controller that it can't stay active long enough for me to do any gaming or is there a problem with one or all of my USB kernals ?
All the other devices connected and work just fine.

I went ahead to ebay japan and bought a PS2 to USB converter controller.
I really do need to know whats going on because right now I am doing a project and need this controller to work with me.

Have you updated your chipset drivers?

Also if you mean have I updated my intel chipse drivers no I haven't or if you mean mobo chipset yes, I updated it when I added my celeron e1200 back in may of this year.

Install your chipset drivers. Most of them now have USB drivers as well.
