My friend, just pieced together a computer. Its not done but the power supply doesn't turn on, it makes a high pitched whining noise. He doesnt have it fully complete, he still needs a processor and ram, and video card. He has all of them, just not the processor was in an order we made which got messed up by newegg.
He has tried turning it on and we are not sure what is happening.
I for one said, wait for the processor because thats what I think, but he insisted on piecing it together today and not having a processor.
