Frequency out of range?

so maybe the monitor doesn't support that resolution. no monitor I know would be out of range at 60Hz

Yeah, I don't know either. Basically I just fixed the problem, I think. I took the battery out of the motherboard and let it sit for a few minutes, put it back in started it up and it works fine for those programs now with it on 80 hz. I don't know...

must have been a BIOS setting (the 6150 is an onboard card)

Why woulda thought that clearing the cmos would fix it. Lol

Lol, yeah I don't know. I just figured that since it was an onboard card, it was worth a shot. Only problem now is I can't sync my clock with the internet.
