I'm wondering what is necessary to install the new Forceware 177.39 driver for my 2x 8800GT in SLI.

I know that the driver is only intended for the new GTX 200 series but I've seen many sucess stories with this driver on 8800 series cards and I want to try it for myself.

I think I need a modded inf file but I have no idea where to download it or how to install it with the new driver. Any help given is greatly appreciated!

I found a great solution from a site called which supports desktop GPUs as well. Anyone looking for help with modded drivers should check this site out. Unfortunately the driver I updated to still had the problems I was trying to get rid of.
