Not sure what you went into to get to the Gateway Restore Utility...probably the factory image option on boot.

You're mos tlikely not going to be able to get it to work because there's a possibility of bad sectors on your HDD (which the chkdsk /f /r will attempt to block those off).

I did get the file to brun onto a cd and boot to command prompt


the chkdsk c: /f /r ran and found no problems.

I was able to restore the factory image and everything seems to be running ok so far.
