Final thoughts before I buy?

After doing a lot of research on LCD monitors I think I am going to go with this one:

Since it has a fast response time and a good contrast ratio. While I was looking around I did see contrast ratios of 700:1 though, would that be a whole lot better or not worth the drop in response time?

I plan on using this monitor at 1024x768 and 800x600 for games, will they look ok probably?

my thoughts are If anything goes wrong don't expect much help from tiger direct.. They have rather poor/shady customer service
