without a doubt....that's an old style power supply. It has 25 Amps on the 5 volt and only 14 Amps on the 12 volt rail.

one more thing came to my notice, that the PC starts as soon as i start its power - i mean there is no need to press the PC's power button to start it up.

Replaced the PSU with a new one.
The 'wild-fan' problem still persists.
Now going to return the PSU.

I can't view the photos. All I want to know is if the voltages leveled out to where they're supposed to be.

i was busy correcting that photo issue. its fixed now.
the voltages do not seem to be leveled.
