Hardware Secrets has a rather interesting story posted today (well, if you consider getting ripped off “interesting”) about some fake 2GB USB drives making the rounds. Take a look at this baby:

that why we buy off Newegg, better return policy
to newegg: my reason for returning my flash drive was because it was fake

"pros: pretty color. really cheap.

thats an old pic there are tons of things like that there was someone who bought a core 3 trio a year ago and it turned out to be just a metal plate but had the box all printed up nicely lol

Man is that clever or what? I think this is the best little scam like this I have ever seen.

I am going to keep my eye out for some one selling things like this at computer fairs.
