extreme lag

I just got my PC up and running... but I have extreme lagging when I scroll on web pages and such, extreme extreme lag. Can anyone help?

Also, I have an ASUS p4p800-E Deluxe mobo and it says that my multimedia audio controller is not installed, yet I have integrated audio... any suggestions on how to fix this?

Install all the drivers on your CD.

The LAG u suggested normally happens to me, install your motherboard Chipset drivers and your Video Card drivers.

Eveything you need should be on the Cd that came with the motherboard, exept your videocard drivers.

same things happen to me when I haven't fully installed drivers on setups.. so anyhow if you don't have the cds find out what motherboard/video card you have and post back
