External Harddrive (Dragon Drive - US Modular)

I just bought a new US Modular Dragon Drive. I plug it into my laptop, it installs the new hardware, when it's finished I get the message that my new device is ready for use, but I can't find the device anywhere on my laptop. My Device Manager shows that it's installed (USB Mass Storage Device) and has no conflicts with the drivers, but I still can't send anything to the external harddrive or even locate it at all to try and send anything. Anybody know what I'm doing wrong or overlooking?

check your settings you might have plug and play devices hidden. If you still cant find it look in your registry for what drive letter it has been assigned and then just type that into the explorer bar.
