Hi guys I have an external enclosure and i wanted to make a usb dvdrw out of it. Is there any particular settings the dvdrom needs to be on? or any other things i need to do?

You should be able to just hook it up, and plug it in. Drivers may be needed, if you're on an older OS.

What enclosure, and what drive are you using?

As long as it fits in to your enclosure OK then there shouldn't be anything else you need to do apart from connecting it to your PC and your OS should detect it - the only possible exception may be Windows 98 may need a driver, but I really hope you're not using that OS!
