R razing Beta member Messages 1 Aug 2, 2009 #1 simple tech 250g external hardrive and my sister drop it. ever thing work but the the usb connector on the hardrive. I think it got bent -in and when i plug the usb cord in to my computer the hardrive wont come up

Yami Lady Techie Messages 8,196 Location UK Aug 2, 2009 #2 If you can open the drive enclosure, and stick the hard drive in to your computer it should work, unless the drive itself is damaged. Keep in mind that could void the warranty.
