Default Error MSG after adding a second dvd drive

Well i have just a regular dvdrom in there as of now, i am trying to add a second dvdrw. So i install the drive in the bay, attach the interface cable, then attach the power cable...then when i try to boot up, after the all black screen with the windows xp logo in the middle, right before the blue login screen, i get a blue stop screen error of death then it quickly restarts and does the same thing. The blue error screen shows for less then a second and is too fast to read. Am i forgetting something here? Too me in sounded like it could be a power issue, but i have a good 500w psu. I know its not the drive to, becuase i disconnected my first dvdrom, and hooked up hold the newer dvdrw and it was fine. It seems i just get that error when running both together.

Im tired of messing with this for the night, so ima sleep and check your guys/gals ideas in the morn. thanks
