We tend to forget in the winter months ...especially in the northern states, the air in your home can get as dry as a desert. Cold air holds less moisture. The colder it gets, the drier the air. Get a hygrometer to check your homes and if possible, use a humidifier when you need to. To avoid too much moisture, keep below it 50%
