E-SATA wont read anything

I purchased an external hard drive and I can only get it working on USB. For some reason, my e-sata just wont read it or anything else I plug into it. I have a custom computer with an ASrock motherboard, I dont know exactly what model the MB is, which was another question, how can I find the model of the MB?

cpuz will tell us what model mb you have and then we can see if it has esata support.

ok cool thanks, the model is an ASRock A780GXE/128M

By the way this is the first program that I have gotten the 64 bit version to work!! Anything else like adobe flash for the 64 bit internet explorer or the 64 bit version of itunes just doesnt work... I got XP64 bit, I wish I just waited for windows 7!

Unfortunately it could just be an issue with xp64bit.
