a dvi question

my x300se card has a vga port and a dvi port.

i want to set up a dual monitor system with two vga monitors

i have found out that if the dvi port is dvi-i, then all u need is a cheap converter, but if it id dvi-d you need to spend lots of money on a converter.

how do i find out exactly what the port is?? i can find anything in everest.
