I have just finished building my PC but I'm not getting any picture:
I have a XFX 6870 card with 2 DVI-I Dual Link connectors,
and my monitor has 1 DVI-D Dual Link,
I am connecting them using a cable which is DVI-D Dual Link on both sides, is this wrong or is the cable bust?
I know its probably not the graphics card because if I use the motherboards VGA slot to my monitors VGA then I get picture and I can see the BIOS is recognizing all my hardware.
All the DVI references came from wikipedia: Digital Visual Interface - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Here are my other specs:
CPU: i5 2500k
Mobo: ASUS P8Z68-V/GEN3
RAM: 8GB (2x4GB) Corsair DDR3 1333MHz
PSU: Corsair TX850 (850W),
HDD: WD Black 1TB
and a simple optical drive,
Any help is appreciated, thanks,
