DVI -D Vrs DVI -i

Hi I,m looking to purchase a Dell 2407WFP which supports DVi-D (Not DVi-i) Input while my graphics card nVidiea 9800 has two DVi-i output conenctors (No DVi-D).

I done some research with conlicting results so my question can these hardware devices be connected without any issues?

You won't have any problems as long as you use a DVI-D cable. The only difference between the 2 is that DVI-D is only digital, while DVI-I is both analog and digital. So as long as you transmit with a digital cable, (DVI-D cable) it'll work.
