DVD-Writer can not see files.

I have DVD-Writer drive Samsung Super-Write master SH-S182D/RSBN. I plug it in my PC (Mainboard Gigabyte GA-6VTXE, Windows XP Service pace 2).

The result is I can see the drive in 'My Computer' as DVD-RAM but I can't see any file for any CD/DVD inserted into the drive.

After some testing I found that the drive is OK and the data cable is OK also.

So how can I fix this problem ?

In my PC I installed many programs such as MS Office 2000, Activesync (for PocketPC) etc.

No I mean did you install the software for your CD RW


Did it come with a CD or was it OEM.

If so check for drivers on the manufactures site.

Also make sure you have the jumper on the back of the Drive in the "slave" setting.
