hi, ive recentley purchased a dvd rewrite drive, its a sony DW-Q30A.. anyway when i got it i did make a couple of dvd back ups, however now for some reason when im sticking in a dvd+rw it seems to think its a cd-rw and wont do wot i want. i cant even try to erase the disc. does anyone know what is goin on here and why? if my drive is now faulty ima flip a gasket! lol.
ive tried a few dsics incase one was damaged but it does it to all. it reads dvds ok. just dont seem to like my rw's now.
i recentley stuck in another dvd drive so i could do straight copys and since then it hasnt worked properly. u think it could be how i installed it? my rw drive is slave and the reader is master.
anyway any help would muchly be appreciated. thanks in advance.
