E ericf1993 Beta member Messages 3 Sep 23, 2006 #1 my dvd rom cant be detected but my cd burner can. when i only plug in the dvd rom, it gets detected, when i plug both it doesnt get detected, any ideas?

A achase4u Baseband Member Messages 27 Sep 23, 2006 #4 if they are both set to cable select - if not you can try master and slave setting Is it showing in the devices list in your BIOS? what about device manager in windows? I am having trouble with two optical drives like you at the moment too.
