Default DVD Drive Help Pl0x

Hey I'm trying to read a double layer DVD on this laptop im using here. I just have a DVD ROM/DVD Burner, so does that mean i can't even read double layered DVD's?

Sorry if I'm noobing out here, but if there is anyway to do it any help would be appreciated.
